Debra Allen sent an email to the DFWMGRC membership on June 11, 2007 stating "If you talk to some of the board members/constitution committee they will try to tell you puppy referral is not going away. DON'T BELIEVE THEM."

 

This 'Private Website' then appeared on 6/27/07, approximately two weeks after the DFWMGRC membership meeting (6/19/07) whereby the proposed change to the DFWMGRC Bylaws to exclude DFWMGRC Puppy Referral was adopted.  After the vote, Dick Caldwell made a motion to 'table' the discussion that ensued afterwards with regards to the Club having a breeder referral list published on the DFWMGRC website whereby Sherri Farmer stated that when she would be the volunteer for the DFWMGRC Public Information committee that she will refer out to her friends' litters.   Sherri Farmer at that time was the DFWMGRC Puppy Referral Committee Chair.  Plaintiffs contend that proposed action by Sherri Farmer (referring out her friend's litters) would be in direct contravention to the  justifications published in the DFWMGRC Newsletter for the proposed Bylaw changes eliminating DFWMGRC Puppy Referral.  Plaintiffs also contend that this 'private' website was already being set up at that time.  The information below shows that the domain name was registered on 6/26/07 and according to the date on the 'private' site, it went up on the Internet the following day.  Here is the information for the 'private' website:

Please take note that whomever was the 'registrant' did not spell RETRIEVER correctly....  when you open the site it says DFW Golden Retriever Breeders.  However, they registered it under  DFW Golden Retreiver Breeders, a minor detail that should not have been overlooked when setting up a Golden Retriever Breeder website by reputable Golden Retriever Breeders :-)

 

There is a taped recording of a DFWMGRC Public Information Committee volunteer who is also a member of this 'private website' whereby she is directly referring to this 'private website' during a phone inquiry to the Public Information Committee which at that time was a violation of the DFWMGRC Standing Rules.
