In
the following email, Judy Word states "I do
know that even if they hire a lawyer, we do
not have to turn over our correspondence."
Discovery
requires turning over
correspondence!
Why
would that statement have been made to the
Board? For what reason would Judy
Word not want an opposing counsel, Judge, or
Jury to view any of the Dallas-Ft Worth Metro
Golden Retriever Club Board
correspondence? Could it be because the
truth was not being told to the Board and the
actual facts could potentially be uncovered
through Discovery as they were?
Judy
Word states "I have not talked with BJ since he
reported Terry Combs had called
him". In Judy Word's own timeline
her notes say 'that they even had an x-president
of the Club call him, Terry Combs. That he
refused to speak with him ....' Judy
Word's legal Affidavit in Defendant's Motion To
Dismiss reflects same. However, BJ did
speak with Terry Combs as evidenced with Terry
Combs affidavit - Phone call with BJ
. In a the last voicemail left by BJ to
Plaintiffs, BJ also speaks of the phone call
with Terry Combs.
Judy
Word states "I will contact the previous owner
to see if he will have each vet provide him with
a *detailed* examination report."
Plaintiffs offered to Judy Word to speak with
their vet, offered to Rita Robins to view the
vet report, and Plaintiff actually read Rita
Robins the vet report. That was during the
email dialogs between Plaintiffs and Defendants
between April 23-April 25 2005. Board
members mentioned numerous times in emails
between themselves that they didn't want to
involve Plaintiff's vet. Plaintiff's vet
report is on the Opening Statement page of this
website.
Judy
Word states " ... IT IS IMPERATIVE... you do not
discuss." Why can't Club
members discuss an issue individually with
any one of their Board members without Judy Word
being involved? Why is Judy Word wanting
to be the only contact with Plaintiffs at that
time? We already have seen the
incorrect and exaggerated information Judy Word
gave to the GRCA_Puppy_Referral group through
her email on April 15, 2005 in the Opening
Statement page on this website with regards to
Plantiff's puppy with the umbilical hernia.
